HOW TO DRESS EMO

I have always wondered what the word EMO meant in the fashion circles so after some research into this growing fashion trend I have concluded the following.

EMO is short for the word emotion, so too dress EMO is to dress with emotion. Does this mean too dress while you are crying or angry or if you are going through an emotional crisis?

Ha ha the answer is a resounding NO.

The actual meaning is to dress with a flair and style that projects an aura of emotion, or sense of emotion.

This style of dressing EMO would include color and the type of accessories worn.

Color is an expression of feelings which are emotions, just as the color red projects anger and hostility and soft pastel colors are soothing so is color to the dressing in the EMO style.

Too dress and project an EMO appearance one would wear colorful vintage clothing similar to the era of the 60s or 70s. Accessories such as bangles, converse running shoes and cat eye glasses would also be worn.

You could have a dyed jet black short hairstyle or a short messy hairstyle.
